Safety Information: GeneArche
Wellness Pvt. Ltd. tests screen for select clinically relevant genetic
variations in human genomic DNA to assess
genetic risk or predisposition to various diseases and traits. These tests
may require further confirmatory tests and the
advice of a qualified medical practitioner before any medical action is
taken. GeneArche shall not be responsible for the
same. A lack of substantial genetic risk for a particular disease does not
imply complete protection. Similarly, substantial
genetic risk does not guarantee the development of the disease. Lifestyle
and other factors significantly influence health
outcomes, and genetics explains only part of it. Understanding of human
genetic information is evolving, and only a trained
healthcare provider can assess an individual's current state of health.
Some of GeneArche services also depend on the
expertise of our partners, which may cause variations in test results.
GeneArche is not responsible for such variations or for
the loss of samples or information due to data server malfunctions or
catastrophic events beyond our control. Individuals
should continue seeking advice or treatment from their healthcare providers
for any previously diagnosed conditions. No
part of GeneArche services, including reports, instruction calls, or
genetic counseling calls, is intended as a substitute for
professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our services are
provided without warranties of any kind, to the
maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The reports are based on
current associations between genetic markers and
diseases or traits at the time of sample collection. Future research may
alter these interpretations, and different companies
may produce varying results due to proprietary algorithms. GeneArche may
not process samples if the saliva or blood does
not contain sufficient DNA, or if the DNA does not meet quality standards.
If initial processing fails, GeneArche may request
for the recollection of the sample and offer a new kit for the same.
